The Works ($100, ~75 minutes) is the full Alchemy experience: a haircut, a beard service (if applicable), eyebrow trim, skin exfoliation, a black charcoal mask, hot towel finish, and a complimentary drink. Our signature package — the cut you book the morning of a wedding, an interview, or just when you want to feel a level better.

Yes. The Alchemy House Call is $200 for ~2 hours and covers travel within Coral Gables and Greater Miami. Full barbershop experience — haircut, beard, hot towel finish, premium products — at your home, office, or hotel. Book it through Squire or call us to arrange.

Yes, if the barber has time after your booked service. The most common add-ons are eyebrow trim ($10), beard enhancer ($10), hair enhancer ($10), and exfoliating facial ($50). Mention it when you sit down and the barber will let you know.

You'll sit down, your barber will ask what you're trying to accomplish — current cut, what you like, what you don't, hair texture, lifestyle — and translate that into a plan before the clippers come out. The cut itself runs 30–60 minutes depending on the service. We'll show you the final result in the mirror before you leave the chair.

Doesn't matter to us. We rinse, towel, or wash depending on the service. If you're coming straight from the gym we won't blink — and our chairs are comfortable enough that a clean cut after a hot day is a small ritual.

Always a good idea, especially for a first visit or a style change. Even a screenshot of someone with a similar hair texture wearing the cut you want helps us calibrate exactly what you're going for. We'd rather over-communicate up front than miss the mark.

Premium professional grade only — pomades, clays, sea salts, beard oils, and finishing products we'd use on ourselves. Ask your barber what they're working with and they'll tell you the brand and where to find it.

Yes. Most cuts include a quick rinse and towel; the Haircut Plus, packages, and the Hot Towel Shave include the full hot-towel ritual. If you specifically want a wash-and-style, let us know when you book.

That's the consultation. Tell your barber your lifestyle (how much time you spend on hair each morning, what work expects, what you want at the gym), your hair history (what's worked, what hasn't), and what you like or dislike about your current cut. We'll narrow it from there. If you're indecisive, ask for a recommendation — we cut all day and have opinions.

Every barber at Alchemy is Florida-licensed and continuously trained. Licensure certificates are displayed at the front desk — happy to walk you through if you'd like to see them.

Yes — pick your barber when you book online or tell us on the phone. Each barber has their own calendar inside Squire, and your booking is held with that specific person.

We'll let you know as soon as we know — usually via Squire text. You can either rebook with the same barber for another day or take the slot with another barber on the team. We never substitute without your say-so.

Sometimes. We're a small shop and we hire deliberately. If you're a licensed Florida barber interested in joining, email a portfolio and a short note to alchemyhairlab@gmail.com with the subject BARBER APPLICATION. Walk-in inquiries welcome any weekday afternoon.
